After glowing reviews following its 2012 success, the Cancun - Riviera Maya Wine and Food Festival is gearing up for its second annual series of events in March, 2013.

Riviera Maya Food Feast
This year's theme is "Europe Meets the Americas", with dozens of chefs from all over Europe, Mexico, South America and beyond traveling to Mayan territory to compare and combine their unique cuisine styles. With an endless list of tastings, dinners and more, the second annual Cancun - Riviera Maya Wine and Food Festival will be held from March 13 through 17.

Cancun Riviera Maya International Wine and Food Festival

Several of the Riviera Maya's most luxurious resorts have stepped up to host some of the festival's upscale events. Known for its incredible resort cuisine, the El Dorado Royale Culinary Arts Center will be offering 9 celebrity chef cooking demonstrations throughout the 5-day festival. At a cost of $60 US dollars each, the demos include everything from Venezuelan dishes to Baja seafood favorites and French delicacies. El Dorado Royale will also be the venue for numerous wine tastings with vintages from Tuscany, California and Mexico. Looking to kick things up a notch? The Cancun - Riviera Maya Wine and Food Festival 2013 promises some unforgettable lunches and dinners at Riviera Maya locations like Xcaret park, Gran Velas resort and Paradisus resort in Playa del Carmen, each with star chefs and mouthwatering courses.

Spice up your weekend and make your way down to the Grand Coral resort for the American Express Gourmet Tasting Village on March 16 and 17, where you'll find a giant tent with over 20 of the best restaurants in Cancun in the Riviera Maya showcasing samples of their signature dishes and favorite wines.
