What is the fun of being in the Caribbean if you don’t explore it in a cruise? You have to be onboard a cruise to experience the magical waters, warm sun and exotic nature. Bringing you great cruise experience is Norwegian Cruise Line. They have launched various new shore excursions for its Cozumel port calls. The seven-hour "Tulum & Beach Club" tour offers a visit to Playa del Carmen via fast ferry. From there visitors can board an air-conditioned motor coach for a scenic drive to Tulum where they can avail a guided tour of the ancient Mayan city. The tour also leaves recreational time for cruisers so that they can relax at a nearby beach club by indulging in swimming and a buffet style meal. The tour has been priced at $109 for adults and $79 for kids.

The cruise also added a new three-hour "12 Meter America’s Cup Regatta" tour from Cozumel. This gives clients a chance to board and sail on Dennis Conner’s America’s Cup winning Stars & Stripes and True North IV racing yachts. Instructions will be provided by the crew and previous sailing experience is necessary. Guests grind a winch, trim a sail, punch a stopwatch or just sit back and relax. Refreshments are provided throughout the race and to celebrate the victory, a complimentary victory rum punch party is also organized. The age limit to participate is 12 and one needs to be atleast 21 years of age to be served alcoholic beverages.

Norwegian Cruise Line also has special news for kids as they are rolling out another "Kids Sail Free" promotion. This means that children of age 17 and under can sail for free in a cabin's third and fourth berths when accompanying by two paying adults. The promotion covers select fall sailings to Alaska, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada & New England, the Caribbean, Europe and Hawaii that are booked by July 7.
